Ahead of Donald Trump ’s election rally on Long Island, explosives were allegedly found in a car near the election rally venue on Wednesday. On information, the Secret Service agents rushed to the spot along with the bomb disposal squad and seized the explosives. The United States authorities confirmed the incident saying that the explosives were discovered in a vehicle near the rally site of former US President Donald Trump .

The law enforcement agencies are verifying the facts. However, if verified, the discovery of explosives near Trump’s rally will be another security breach bid three days after the second assassination attempt on the former US president at West Palm Beach Trump International Golf Club in Florida.

The suspect, involved in the second assassination bid, was arrested by the Secret Service agents and was being interrogated.

It was on Sunday, the Secret Service agents fired at the would-be assassin, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh (58), upon spotting the barrel of his gun protruding from the fence at Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida. The local police subsequently took him into custody.

Further details regarding the recovery of explosives is being awaited.
