At least two people were seriously injured after a drone crashed into the 38-story residential complex "Volga Sky"
Moscow: At least two people including a woman were seriously injured after a drone crashed into the 38-story residential complex "Volga Sky", the tallest building in Saratov, Russia on Monday, August 26.
According to the governor of the region southeast of Moscow, Roman Basurgin this incident was a result of Ukraine's drone attack.
A video of the incident was posted on Basurgin's Telegram account, which showed the high-rise residential building in Saratiov with a damaged side and flams could be seen blown out of windows across three floors.
"A woman was hospitalised in serious condition. Doctors are fighting for her life," he said.
The governor said emergency services had fanned out at affected sites in the city and Engels.
Russia Launches Massive Missile and Drone Attack Across Ukraine
At least three people were killed and several explosions were heard after the Russian forces launched a massive missile and drone attack in Kyiv, the Kyiv Independent reported.
As per the report, air raid sirens were sounded across the country early in the morning at around 6 am local time. Several explosions were heard in the city a little before 8:30 am with several more a little later.
It also added that as many as six Russian bomber aircraft were in the air.
The Ukraine's Air Force said Russian MiG-31s, which were used to launch Kinzhal ballistic missiles, were in the air. The Air Forces initially reported the activity of 11 Russian bomber aircraft as well as several kamikaze drones, heading towards cities across the country.
