A massive fire ripped through a 26-storey skyscraper named 'Rixos Khan Shatyr' residences in Kazakhstan's Astana, causing an emergency like situation.

Astana: A massive fire ripped through a 26-storey skyscraper building in the capital city of Kazakhstan, Astana, leading to a major chaotic situation in the area. The incident reportedly took place on Saturday afternoon, at the building named as ‘Rixos Khan Shatyr Residences, causing an emergency like situation in the area. On information, the team of local police along with fire-fighters and other concerned authorities rushed to the spot and efforts to control the fire was initiated. As per the preliminary reports, the building's cladding caught fire, which further spread to a larger area. No reports of injury or casualties have surfaced so far, according to the local authorities.
