Caught on CCTV: Massive Bomb Blast at Quetta Railway Station in Pakistan, 27 Dead, 60 Injured

Quetta: As many as 27 people were killed and 60 ors sustained injuries in an explosion at Quetta Railway Station in Pakistan 's Balochistan province on Saturday. According to media reports, explosion occurred at railway station's booking office just before a train arrived at platform.

Soon after blast, Baloch Liberation Army, a militant separatist group in Pakistan , took responsibility for explosion. militant group said blast, carried out by its Fidayee unit, was targeted at Pakistani Army unit who was returning via Jaffer Express after completing a course at Infantry school.
“This morning, a Fidayee attack was carried out on a Pakistani army unit at Quetta Railway Station as y were returning via Jaffer Express after completing a course at Infantry School. attack was executed by BLA's Fidayee unit, Majeed Brige. Details will soon be released to media,” re a press release issued in name of BLA Spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch.

Jaffer Express was scheduled to depart for Peshawar at 9am, sources, citing railway officials, reported.
