New Delhi, India: Russian President Vlimir Putin will visit India soon, said Kremlin sources. This comes days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Putin to visit India next year for 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit. 

"Russian President Vlimir Putin to visit India soon. We are working on dates," says Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin's press secretary.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was warmly welcomed by Russian President Vlimir Putin in Kazan. Putin said Russia-India ties ‘do not require translation’ and thanked PM Modi for visiting city for summit. Sources said meeting lasted for more than two hours.

In ir bilateral meeting, Prime Minister expressed India's willingness to provide all cooperation for a peaceful resolution to Ukraine conflict.
"I have been in constant touch with you on subject of ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. As I have said earlier, we believe that problems should be resolved in a peaceful manner. We fully support early establishment of peace and stability. All our efforts give priority to humanity. India is rey to provide all possible cooperation in times to come," PM Modi said.

PM Modi also recalled his two visits to Russia in last three months, saying y "reflect our close coordination and deep friendship".

Moreover, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his two visits to Russia in last three months reflect close coordination and deep friendship between two countries and he looks forward to take part in BRICS Summit.

"My two visits to Russia in last three months reflect our close coordination and deep friendship. Our Annual Summit in Moscow in July has strengned our cooperation in every field...In 15 years, BRICS has created its special identity and now many countries of world want to join it. I am looking forward to participating in BRICS Summit tomorrow," he said.
