'Brexit is a British domestic crisis' says French President Macron

French President, Emmanuel Macron reportedly said on October 10 that Britain's divorce from the European Union was a British domestic crisis, not a European one

As days come closer to what Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Boris Johnson called 'Brexit day', President of France, Emmanuel Macron reportedly said on October 10 that Britain's divorce from European Union is a British domestic crisis, t a European one. President Macron furr believes that UK should take responsibility for how it decides to leave 28-nation bloc on October 31, if it will be with a considerable deal or without it. French President believes that Brexit negotiations have alrey taken too much time. However, w is time to discuss future relationship that Britain will share with EU.

Reportedly, after a phone call between French President and PM Johnson during weekend, President Macron indicated that negotiations are hoping to escalate in upcoming days, in order to evaluate by end of week wher a deal is possible or t. Recently, European Council President Donald Tusk also took to Twitter to dress United Kingdom's Prime Minister Boris Johnson that Brexit deal is t “some stupid blame game” and questioned his motives for fast deteriorating negotiations on October 8. This came in response after Downing Street delivered a fairly negative reaction to phone call between PM Johnson and Angela Merkel, German Chancellor. Tusk believes that Britain's exit from European Union should t result in a reportedly chaotic and costly affair. However, PM Johnson still believes that referendum result should be respected.

PM Johnson meets Irish leer

comments by President Macron came a few hours after UK leer met Ireland's Prime Minister Leo Varkar. According to joint statement released by Downing Street, both leers could see a “pathway to a possible deal”. British government is still hopeful of striking a Brexit deal with European Union even though difficulties that have presently clouded both sides about its chances of success. While EU leers have asked for more realistic negotiations from Britain in response to proposed Brexit plan by PM Johnson. 28-nation bloc says that proposal does t fulfil Britain's commitment to a nconflicting border between rrn Ireland and EU member Ireland.
