Donald Tusk urges the Remainers to not give up
Donald Tusk who will end his tenure on January 1 urged the remaining people during his address to not ‘give up’ on their efforts to stop Britain from exiting the EU. He said during the European Union’s negotiations with the UK, they extended the time limits and added extra time which might go ahead with penalties. Tusk said that the supporters of Brexit believe that after leaving European Union, they would make the United Kingdom a global power, and alone it can truly be great, however, the reality is exactly the opposite.

Only United Europe can confront global powers
Donald Tusk believes that only united Europe can confront the global powers including the assertive China and be at par with the global leaders. He said that there is the same wave of opinion in countries like India, New Zealand, Australia and Canada that believe Britain’s exit from the EU will make the UK an outsider and a ‘second-rate player’, while the actual battlefield will be under the influential powers of the world like China, United States, and the European Union. Donald Tusk, who remained the chairman of the Europian Union for five years has always voiced his desire for Britain to change its mind and stay with the EU.
