Amid the coronavirus pandemic, production of arguably the world’s longest animated tv show, 'Sazae-san', has been interrupted. Will be showing reruns instead.

Amid coronavirus pandemic, production of arguably world’s longest animated tv show has been interrupted. According to reports, iconic show called Sazae-san, which for many marks end of weekend has been forced to brocast re-runs for first time in deces. show first aired in 1969 and is centred around life of Mrs Sazae, a cheerful, happy-go-lucky full-time housewife.
Brocast Interrupted
According to reports, show Sazae-san comprises of 30-minute episodes and airs Sunday nights. show has been widely popular and somewhat of a staple in Japan. But recently due to coronavirus pandemic, show has run into problems, animation dubbing for show h to be halted so as to ensure safety of staff.

As per reports, brocaster Fuji Television Network anunced on May 10 that y would be halting brocast of new episodes of show for time being from May 17 onwards and inste show re-runs. brocaster also said that inste, y will be showing episodes from two years ago. This is first time show has been forced to air reruns since 1975 when ecomic pressures h forced its hand.

Japan has reported over 15,000 positive coronavirus cases and close to 700 deaths. According to tally by international news ncy, pandemic has w spre to 212 countries and has infected at least 4,198,418 people. Out of total infections, 1,500,685 have been recovered but easily spre virus is continuing to disrupt many lives. Major cities have been put under lockdown in almost all countries and ecomy is struggling.
