BTS: The only K-pop band to stay in the Billboard 200 for a year
Bangtan Sonyeondan, also known as BTS, was last seen at their concert in Seoul. They are the only K-pop band to sustain their Billboard 200 position.

BTS, also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan, are the only K-Pop band to survive the dynamic competition of Billboard 200. The 7-member boyband rose to international fandom after receiving Top Social Artist award in Billboard Music Awards back in 2017. They are the only Korean K-pop group to sustain their position in Top 200 for more than twelve months. The milestone was crossed by their album Love Yourself: Answer which released back on August 24, 2018.
Love Yourself: Answer
The third album in the Love Yourself series after Love Yourself: Her and Love Yourself: Tear, Answer was an amalgamation of solos and group songs from the BTS members, namely Kim Nam Joon, Kim Seok Jin, Min Yoon Ki, Jung Ho Soek, Park Ji Min, Kim Tae Hyung and Jeon Jung Kook. According to multiple reports, some of the songs in Love Yourself: Answer are written by the singers themselves. The album saw record sales post its release in 2018. The title track DNA secured a position at number 49 on Billboards 2017 list of 100 Best Songs.

According to Billboard reports until 2018, BTS managed to single headedly represent the K-pop genre. However, this year BLACKPINK and SuperM lasted a month-long on the Billboard 200 list. Both the bands released Kill This Love and self-titled EP respectively earlier this year.
Bangtan’s future works
Bangtan Sonyeondan released their Seasons Greetings preview through their official fan channel, Bangtan TV. They were seen in colourful attires that will eventually be printed for the seasons greeting books and other merchandise. BTS fans are awaiting their next MV and music album. They were last seen performing at a concert in Seoul Olympic Stadium in Korea, completing their Love Yourself concert world tour.
