The iconic Burj Khalifa in the UAE on Sunday lit up in solidarity with China and its people over the coronavirus outbreak that has caused havoc across the globe

iconic Burj Khalifa in United Arab Emirates on Sunday lit up in solidarity with China and its people battling coronavirus outbreak that has caused havoc in entire world. Burj Khalifa building lit up in red and gold colours, representing colours of Chinese national flag. tallest building in world also displayed a heartwarming mess that re, "Stay strong Wuhan" both in English and Mandarin.

Burj Khalifa was t only building in UAE that lit up in solidarity with China, or iconic landmarks across country displayed a similar mess. Capital Gate, Abu Dhabi Global Market, Emirates Palace and Sheikh Zayed Bridge in Abu Dhabi, Burj Al Arab in Dubai and Hazza bin Zayed Stium in Al Ain were or landmarks that were illuminated with Chinese flag colours.

world is battling outbreak of dely coronavirus that has claimed more than 420 lives in China alone. According to international press, confirmed reported cases have reached up to 20,000 as of February 4. disease is believed to have originated in a market in Hubei's Wuhan city, epicentre of virus outbreak, where animals were being tred illegally.

Chinese authorities have imposed a strict quarantine in 12 cities across country, 11 of which are in Hubei province. China built an emergency hospital in a record time of just 8 days to house patients with confirmed coronavirus cases. Beijing is also building ar hospital in same region with a capacity of an estimated 1,600 beds. As per US CDC, confirmed cases of virus have been reported in 27 or countries that include some developed countries like, Australia, Cana, France, United Kingdom, Russia, Singapore, and Italy.
