Canada health regulators approve Pfizer-BioNtech's COVID-19 vaccine
Health Canada reviewed clinical trial data submitted by Pfizer and BioNTech firm and announced that vaccines were safe, effective, and good for distribution.

On December 8, health regulators in Cana approved Pfizer and BioNtech’s COVID-19 vaccines, hailing decision as a ‘critical milestone’ to stem coronavirus pandemic. Cana’s public health and federal government officials are expected to hold a news conference to discuss government’s roll-out program in detail. Canian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau anunced in a release that vaccines are intended to reach high risk and vulnerable population, with shots primarily earmarked for nursing home elderly and staff. Meanwhile, Health Cana said in an update that officials will develop a robust "risk manment plan" after vulnerable population is iculated to monitor critical mass immunity from vaccine.
