Firing at Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal's Canada home, Lawrence Bishnoi claims attack

Firing was reported at the Canadian home of well-known Punjabi actor and singer Gippy Grewal. The shooting incident happened on Saturday at Grewal's bungalow in Vancouver, Canada's White Rock neighbourhood. Grewal, however, hasn't made any official statement about this issue. 

Gangster Bishnoi claims attack

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has taken to social media to claim responsibility for this criminal act. An account going by the name of Lawrence Bishnoi revealed on Facebook posted that the notorious group was responsible for the planned attack. It is being reported that the Punjabi actor was attacked due to his closeness with a big Bollywood star who is at the target of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. 

The post read, "Tell the person (Bollywood actor) whom you treat as a brother to save you. If you are under the illusion that Dawood will save you, then know that no one can save you from us. When Sidhu Moosewala died, you overacted a lot, you knew how many criminals he had contact with. As long as Vicky Middukheda was alive, you used to roam around here and there. But you got very hurt by Sidhu’s death. You are also on the radar. Now you will know what a shock is,” (Translated from Punjabi)

Who is Gippy Grewal?

Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal is originally from Mohali in Punjab. Currently he is in Canada. His film 'Mauja Hi Mauja' is coming, the trailer of which has been launched on Thursday, 23 November. Grewal had previously received threats from gangsters, after which he was provided security.
