Canadian firefighters to help desperate Australians tame wild bushfires

A group of Canadian firefighters is being sent to Australia to fight the intense bushfires particularly in the regions of New South Wales and Queensland.

A group of Canian firefighters is set to arrive in Australia to help battle intense bushfires in New South Wales and Queensland. Hundreds of homes have been destroyed and ecosystem has suffered irreparable dams. Last week, Australian authorities h asked Canian Interncy Forest Fire Centre for help.  

Premier of Canian province of Manitoba, Brian Pallister said that y are pleased to help people of Australia as y too bear brunt of devastating bushfires. y have selected  21 firefighters who will be stationed in Vancouver before y take off to Australia for a 40-day mission.

Aver temperatures to increase in next three months: BOM

fires have been sparked by dry conditions after a three-year drought. Experts believe that fires have intensified due to climate change, a major factor that has spurred sharp political debates in recent days. firefighters expect that fire to continue for weeks without significant rainfall.

Australia's Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) said re is only a 25% chance that country's eastern coast will receive aver rainfall between December 1 and February 28. BOM also expects more than 80% chances that aver temperatures will increase in next three months.
