Canadian PM: Plane crash victims could be saved had US-Iran tensions not escalated

Justin Trudeau stated that the victims of the Ukraine plane shot down by Iran would have still been alive if the tensions had not escalated between US and Iran.

Canian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on January 13 stated that victims of Ukraine plane which was "accidentally" shot down by Iran would have still been alive if tensions between United States and Iran h t escalated. While talking to a local media outlet, Trudeau said that if re was recent escalation between both countries, passengers of ill-fated aircraft would have been with ir families at this point of time.

According to reports, Canian Prime Minister also said that international community from start h been very clear about needing a n-nuclear Iran and also man tensions in affected areas that have been brewed by United States as well. After Iran me a huge mission on January 11, Canian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau renewed his call for answers from Islamic nation. He termed Iran’s mission as a “serious” and “horrific” act. Trudeau also narrated his experience from meeting with plane crash victims’ families.

Iran must take full responsibility

Earlier, Trudeau in a public dress asserted that Iran must take full responsibility for plane crash. He said that families of victims are hurt, angry and grieving. people who were responsible for spreing fake information should be held accountable as well, Canian PM ded.

“ families of victims of this horrible trdy must be supported in any way deemed appropriate and desired by families, including through restitution,” Trudeau said.

A senior Iranian air force commander took "full responsibility" for missile attack that downed a Ukraine International flight on January 8 and claimed 176 lives. Amir Ali Hajizeh, Commander of Aero Force of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), dressed media in Tehran on January 11 and said he “wished he was de” upon learning of Ukrainian jet downing. Iran's Prime Minister Hassan Rouhani apologised for Iran's terrible mistake.
