China begins relaxing social distancing as coronavirus cases drop in the country

While the coronavirus continues to spread across the world, China has been relaxing social distancing measures as the virus slows in China.

While coronavirus continues to spre across world, China has been relaxing social distancing measures as cases of virus slows re. As per reports, earlier in week, Wuhan reported new cases of coronavirus for first time since outbreak began and checkpoints around city have been lifted by authorities.

As per reports, with virus and its impact receding, country is looking to restart its ecomy in areas that it has deemed as ‘low risk of infection’. Schools in Wuhan are being reopened so to are supermarkets and convenience stores. In eastern city of Hangzhou, cinemas, libraries and museums are set to re-open and measuring of people’s temperature at hotels, subway stations and office buildings will stop.

According to World Health Organization representative in China, Dr Gauden Galea, coronavirus is an epidemic that has been nipped as it was growing and stopped in its track. He reportedly ded that his statement is supported by data y have as well as observations me in society.  vel coronavirus, also kwn as COVID-19, has claimed more than 14,703 lives across world and has infected over 339,182 people globally since it first broke out in December 2019.

US blames China for virus

Amidst coronavirus outbreak, two superpowers, United States and China are experiencing one of worst phases of ir relationship. US diplomats and ir family members were evacuated from China in February during a global health crisis caused due to coronavirus outbreak. According to reports, withdrawal of US diplomats was one of largest peacetime evacuations in history. US President Donald Trump has repeatedly blamed China for severity of virus and for t giving equate warning of dely virus.
