China: Coronavirus death toll reaches 1,367, a climb of 254 within a day
China said that there were 15,152 new confirmed infection cases of the Wuhan 2019-nCov virus in the country, escalating the total figures to 59,805.

Hubei authorities have reportedly assigned a new, quicker diagstic method using computerized tomography (CT) scans, which diagsed 13,332 of new infections, confirmed National Health Commission to reporters.

Hubei’s health commission told media that CT scans of coronavirus infected patients reveal severe lung infections, and or closer details me possible with new diagstic methods. It ded that inspection helps authorities to establish case confirmation of disease infection faster, and patients can be isolated to curb furr contagion.

According to reports, infection cases were confirmed using RNA tests conducted by medical professionals, process, however, took several days to establish contraction of virus and method proved to be less effective in monitoring transmission cases.

Short of virus test-kits and testing staff
Last month, short of RNA test kits in Wuhan city, Hubei province delayed patients from being properly diagsed and treated, contributing to spre of virus in early days of outbreak, said report. Hubei health Commission h declared to employ computerized tomography (CT) scan results as confirmation of suspected infections of coronavirus.
Qi Xiaolong, Professor of Medicine and Assistant Dean at First Hospital of Lanzhou University reportedly said in an email to authorities that medical facilities were facing short of virus test-kits and professional testing staff in Wuhan and or virus-stricken and that current case-confirming procedures were unable to meet requirement of diagsis and treatment, suggested reports.
