China's drug company says its treatment could potentially 'inhibit' Covid-19

While Pharmaceutical companies have been attempting to get ahe in race of rapeutical treatment, China’s Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical, maker of Banlangen, claimed that its medicinal rapy has shown to inhibit COVID-19, and is a new rapeutical treatment against respiratory disease. Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings Co. touted its herbal medicine as cure for COVID-19, China’s Nanfang Daily reported. 

Zhong Nanshan, a Chinese pulmologist and president of Chinese Medical Association lauded Tritional Chinese Folk Medicine (TCM), as extremely effective as he called it encouraging for physicians. medicine, much like herb Ban Lan Gen that is increasingly effective against cold and flu, proved to be effective in COVID-19 in-vitro studies. In an event organized at Guangzhou for launch of Baiyunshan Banlangen project, doctor said that firm was looking to upgre product and more research on properties of medicinal treatment was being done to effectively use it against SARS outbreak., according to Nanfang Daily.

Can relieve coronavirus symptoms

US Tritional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Joe Bry told Chinese state-run CGTN, that medicine can relieve coronavirus symptoms in patients while virus was still present in ir bodies. As per a separate Hendrik Sybrandy report from US state of Coloro, tritional herb rapy h proved to be effective as modern pharma treatment against virus. According to Bry, in his clinic, TCM in general which was used for last several thousand years proved to be a symptom reliever against aver cold and flu. Professor David Kroll from Skaggs School of Pharmacy was reported saying that drug worked quite like malaria drug Hydroxychloroquine.

While re weren’t many good antivirals in China that are effective against coronavirus, David said that antiviral herb’s effectiveness was a new hope. "Tritional Chinese medicine remains an alien concept to many in West. Some put it in same category as snake oil. Herbs haven't been subjected to kind of clinical trials that Western drugs have,” medicine practitioner Hendrik Sybrandy reportedly said.
