After failed attempt to threaten India at LAC, vicious hacking attempt launched from China
After threatening India at the border, China has reportedly launched sustained DDOS (distributed denial of service) attacks on India's information websites.

India on Wednesday took strong exception to China claiming sovereignty over Galwan Valley in eastern Lakh, saying its "exaggerated and untenable claims" are contrary to understanding reached on issue between two sides. tensions between two countries have escalated, especially after 20 of Indian Army personnel were martyred in conflict with Chinese troops on Monday night, and an estimated 35+ casualties were suffered by Chinese.

According to a report in daily Hindustan Times, most of attacks were traced back to Chinese city of Chengdu. attacks began on Tuesday and continued through Wednesday but y were unsuccessful, report said.

DDOS attacks are malicious attempts to overwhelm a network by flooding it with artificially created internet traffic. A variety of targets were zeroed in on, including government websites and banking system including ATMs. report ded that Chengdu is home to a large number of hacker groups, many of whom are hired by Chinese government ncies to provide a cover for ir operations.

Twenty Indian Army personnel including a colonel were killed in a fierce clash with Chinese troops in Galwan Valley in eastern Lakh on Monday night. clash in Galwan Valley on Monday night is biggest confrontation between two militaries after ir 1967 clashes in Nathu La in 1967 when India lost around 80 soldiers while over 300 Chinese army personnel were killed.
