'Cancel weddings, scale down funerals': Chinese officials try to curb Coronavirus outbreak

China asks people to delay nuptials
In a statement, Civil Affairs ministry stated people having marri registrations scheduled for February 2 are vised to cancel or delay ir nuptials. According to reports, February 2 is considered very lucky for weddings because sequence of date aligns as 02022020 and if someone res it back n same sequence of number aligns.

Schools and universities across China have been asked to stay shut and people have been vised to avoid crowds at any cost. According to reports, more than 50 million people in Hubei province, where Coronavirus was first detected, are under complete lockdown after authorities cut off all transportation links in an attempt to curb spre of virus.
