China's provocations
H-6 was involved in latest violation of median line by Chinese air force near Taiwan strait, according to Taiwan's Defence Ministry. violation took place on day when a top US diplomat was visiting self-governed island. China has long protested growing partnership between United States and Taiwan, which it sees as a threat to its influence in region. China claims Taiwan as its own territory and accuses US of t hering to 'One China' policy by selling arms to Taipei. US, however, says that it only supports Taiwan militarily so that peace and stability could be maintained in Indo-Pacific.
