China President holds telephone talks with Saudi Arabia's King Salman

Xi Jinping recently expressed that China’s relations with Saudi Arabia are highly progressive and comprehensive and that both nations enjoy rapid development.

Xi Jinping recently expressed that China’s relationship with Saudi Arabia is highly progressive, comprehensive and that both nations enjoy rapid development. He added that the Chinese government highly appreciates Saudi’s support to the One China Principle and there understanding towards Chinese side’s core interests and major worries. 

Saudi Arabia on China

House of Saud, in a similar stance, stated that they believe that its relations with China are strong because Xi Jinping's government respects Saudi’s efforts to safeguard its national sovereignty, security, and stability.  Its highly evident that the relationship between these two nations build a strategic and long-term perspective, and is willing to maintain communication with each other constantly by introducing new impetus into bilateral relations and the development of bilateral cooperation.

King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud recently declared that Saudi Arabia-China is strong and solid as ever and that he firmly believes and considers the One China policy, and will continue to give China firm support on issues concerning the Chinese side's core interests. He also added that he has full faith that their relationship will further grow and develop.

Beijing also expressed their condolences over the Aramco oil facility attack, after the King of Saudi Arabia briefs him on the Kingdom's condition. China even expressed their support on the international platform, over the attack which had an impact on the global oil market.

Xi Jinping stated that he hopes a detailed, objective and justified investigation regarding the attack called on relevant parties to refrain from taking any actions that may escalate tensions in the region so as to jointly safeguard regional peace and stability. 

Saudi Arabia Shows Damaged Aramco Site

The heart of Saudi Arabia’s oil industry remained wrapped in scaffolding on Friday as workers sought to repair the charred innards and shrapnel-blasted arteries caused by drone-and-cruise-missile attacks that raised tensions between the U.S. and Iran.

Saudi officials brought journalists to the kingdom’s crucial Abqaiq oil processing facility, described by the state-run oil giant Saudi Aramco as “the largest crude oil stabilization plant in the world.” It was the first such trip for outsiders to see the damage done to its facilities that have been targeted in a summer-long campaign of attacks.
