China returns to dirty tricks over Arunachal Pradesh, claims Bomdila earthquake in Tibet

A mir earthquake of 5.5 magnitudes was reported in Arunachal Presh on Friday afteron. However, immediately after quake hit rth-eastern region of India, China tried to play its dirty tricks and needled India over quake, by changing name of Arunachal Presh's region where quake was felt. While epicentre of earthquake was Arunachal Presh's Bomdila area, China claimed that it was hit in Shannan, which is in Tibet.
Taking to Twitter, Chinese media quoted China Earthquake Networks Center and claimed that a magnitude 5.6 earthquake hit Cona County in "Shannan" in Southwest China's Tibet Automous Region.

epicentre of quake was at depth of 16.8 km and was located 64 km rast of Bomdila, Arunachal Presh, as per US Geological Survey. Tremors of quake were also felt in Assam.

Significantly, China has internally renamed many places of Arunachal Presh, including Tawang, Bomdila and Itanagar. It has renamed Bomdila Shannan as a part of its claim that Arunachal Presh is a part of Tibet region Here are some of places which were remained by China in April 2017 - Wo'gyainling, Mila Ri, Qoidengarbo Ri, Mainquka, Bumo La and Namkapub Ri. se places are believed to be located along Line of Actual Control ( LAC)
- Wo’gyainling refers to Urgyenling monastery, near Tawang town, which is birthplace of sixth Dalai Lama in Tawang district
- Qoidêngarbo Ri, which translates to White Stupa Mountain was for Choten Karpo Ri.
- Mainquka was for Menchuka and Bümo La is likely to be Bumla, located a short distance from Tawang.
Earlier in May 2019, it h destroyed 30,000 world maps after y did t mention that Arunachal Presh and Taiwan were part of Chinese territory, official media h reported.

As per a report by news ncy PTI, two countries have h as many as 21 rounds of talks in an attempt to resolve border dispute covering 3,488-km-long Line of Actual Control (LAC). However, repeating its dirty tricks, China has also been claiming estranged island of Taiwan as part of its territory that must be reunified with mainland, even by force.
