Expansionist China claims 'won't complicate & expand situation' as Indian Army foils move

After violating consensus and attempting to alter status quo at LAC in Eastern Lakh, China has tried a face-saver at world st, highlighting its commitment to 'maintaining stability at Si-Indian border'. Speaking at French Institute of International Relations, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi said that China will t take initiative to 'complicate and expand situation' along border with India, but ded that it needs to 'firmly safeguard its sovereignty & territorial integrity'.
Chinese foreign minister Wang said that border with India is 't demarcated' and refore problems arise from time-to-time, ding that China is 'willing to man problems with dialogue' and preached that India must t allow 'differences to become conflicts'. This comes even as Chinese PLA violated consensus arrived at during military and diplomatic talks over LAC standoff and unilaterally attempted to change status quo at LAC.

Earlier on Monday, China denied carrying out provocative military movement at LAC in Eastern Lakh on intervening night of August 29 and 30. Claiming that his country's border troops have never crossed border, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian emphasised on People's Liberation Army's strict herence to LAC. He ded that armies of both countries have been in touch over territorial issues.

As per Chinese mouthpiece Global Times, Zhao Lijian said, "Chinese border troops have always strictly observed Line of Actual Control and have never crossed line. border troops of two countries have been in communication over territory issues."

Fresh violation at LAC by China
Earlier in day, Indian Army revealed that Chinese troops h violated consensus arrived at during military and diplomatic talks over LAC standoff. Indian troops t only pre-empted activity of PLA on sourn bank of Pangong Tso lake but also thwarted attempts to unilaterally change facts on ground. Reiterating that Indian Army is committed to maintaining peace and tranquility through dialogue, spokesperson Colonel Aman Anand stressed that it is equally determined to protect its territorial integrity.
