Civil Defence organized the disinfection of Catia neighbourhood streets in western Caracas on Saturday, as part of measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus in Venezuela.
A handful of workers in full protective gear sprayed Calcium Hypochlorite around one of the hotspots of infections in Caracas.
There are 5,971 positive cases in Caracas, making the leading city on COVID-19 cases in Venezuela, according to figures explained Friday by president Nicolás Maduro.
Venezuela has 24,166 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 208 related deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University.
