A new study revealed that rapid warming of Arctic region is leing to extreme winter wear in parts of United States of America. study published in acemic journal of American Association for vancement of Science found that a circular pattern of winds was also disturbed by heat in region, resulting in severe winter wear in a few states in US. study furr stated same reason behind extremely cold wave which was witnessed in Texas in month of February, which usually experiences humid wear. According to BBC news, rapid warming in Arctic region has also caused a rapid shrink of summer sea ice and scientists have often shown ir concerns about implications of this global change. It furr reported that satellite records are testimony of how global temperatures have h an extreme effect on Arctic over past four deces.
'Changes in Arctic having a significant impact on cold wear'
researchers found that changes in Arctic are having a significant impact on cold wear in rn part of America as well as East Asia and ted that warming will see more extreme winters in some locations in future. According to Dr Judah Cohen, director of Atmospheric and Environmental Research (AER) and le author of study, increase in temperature difference les to more disruptions of polar vortex and when it weakens, it les to more extreme winter wear, reported BBC news. researchers furr claimed that ir findings, which are based on both observations and modelling, also show a physical link between Arctic's climate change, stretching of polar vortex and impacts on ground.

'Melting of ice in Barents and Kara seas led to increased swfall over Siberia'
study also shows that increased swfall over Siberia is result of melting of ice in Barents and Kara seas. It furr shows that heat ultimately causes a stretching of polar vortex which led to extremely cold wear in US. Since satellite observations began in 1979, re has been an increase in se stretching events, claimed researchers. y also believe that ir work would also help in predicting onset of extreme cold winter wear. Besides, research team also believes that ir findings will help people understand global warming in a better way and remove misunderstanding that climate change does t le to colder winters, reported BBC news.
