Cold weather brings snow near Sydney

Parts of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory shivered through one of the coldest days of the year on Saturday after an Antarctic blast crossed the southeast of Australia.

Parts of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory shivered through one of the coldest days of the year on Saturday after an Antarctic blast crossed the southeast of Australia.

There were significant snow falls near Sydney, in the Blue Mountains and the Central Tablelands of New South Wales.

Locals from Sydney and tourists didn't waste a moment to enjoy the wintry weekend and spent the day in the areas covered by snow.
