As per reports, drug smugglers who were drowning were saved by one and only thing that was floating nearby which were ir products of cocaine packets. All three members were reported to be in good condition and have been charged by Colombian prosecutors for drug trafficking and manufacturing narcotics

Trio hanged on to drug packets
As per Colombian Navy, three people were found floating in sea about 30 nautical miles off town of Tumaco and hanging on sacks on a variety of different sizes that appeared similar to ones used by drug smugglers. report said that Coast Guard came at scene and three people who were afloat on material that looked like drugs said Capt. Jorge Maldono of Colombia's Task Force Against Drug Trafficking.
Reports said that men were rescued along with sacks or packs and were bought to shores where packs were tested positive for 1.2 tons of cocaine hydrochloride. three men were on a boat. A wave and apparently capsized boat. three people were floating for at least three hours in Shark-prone waters of pacific oceans when y were spotted by Tumaco Coast Guard Unit which was patrolling area at that point of time. Reports say that men were eventually rescued after seven hours of being afloat.

Later developments
According to reports, Officials have published a photo of three men who were surrounded by dozens of bricks of cocaine.
All three members were reported to be in good condition and have been charged by Colombian prosecutors for drug trafficking and manufacturing narcotics. search is on for fourth man who reportedly on boat when it capsized as per Navy. Tumaco is amongst one of main drug ports while exiting Colombia for Central America and United States.
