One of highlights in trailer is Jayam Ravi quipping over Rajinikanth’s political links over past two decades.

story of ‘Comali’ revolves around Jayam Ravi’s character, who comes into his senses after 16 years in coma. plot n involves funny instances of time gap, be it giving ‘change’ to tea-seller for a cup thinking he’d get change in return, getting shocked at Kajal Aggarwal’s torn jeans, etc. Yogi Babu is also in fine form as his friend.

twist in tale comes when he realises his girlfriend from 16 years ago, played by Samyukta Hegde, is married and funny instances around it form basic plot.

One of best moments is when Yogi Babu tells him, “This is 2016”, asking him to believe it by looking at TV where Rajinikanth is saying ‘I will enter politics’. Jayam Ravi n refuses to believe it and says, “This is 1996.”
