Coronavirus: Third chartered plane carrying Diamond Princess evacuees lands in Hong Kong

A third chartered plane with five Hong Kong residents, who were quarantined on the Diamond Princess cruise in Japan, has reportedly landed in the city.

A third chartered plane with five Hong Kong residents, who were quarantined on Diamond Princess cruise in Japan, has reportedly landed in city. According to international media reports, residents have w been transferred to quarantine facilities in New Territories, where y all will be spending next 14 days. However, authorities also said that 70 of 364 Hong Kong residents on ship were infected with dely virus and y will remain in Japan along with or citizens.

Amid dely virus outbreak, Hong Kongers have also started manufacturing ir own face masks with a pop-up production line and seamstresses churning m out on sewing machines. Meanwhile, according to Hubei's health commission, death toll in China has also risen to over 2,400. authorities furr reported 630 new confirmed cases which brought total within China to nearly 77,000.
