Coronavirus: China wants countries to avoid 'overreaction', calls for solidarity
After WHO announced Coronavirus outbreak as a global health emergency, China has called for international solidarity in order to avoid overreaction by countries

While World Health Organisation has declared Coronavirus outbreak as a global health emergency, China has called for international solidarity and wants countries to avoid overreaction. After death toll of vel virus rose to over 200 with as many as 9,356 confirmed cases in China, its ambassor to United Nations, Zhang Jun wants all countries to behave in a responsible manner on January 30.
While speaking to reports, Zhang said China is at a 'very critical st' of fighting SARS-like virus and it is 'extremely important' for all countries to behave in an 'appropriate and responsible manner'. He also ackwledged concerns of or countries over outbreak of virus which originated from Chinese city of Wuhan, and ded that 'we should listen to vice' of WHO director-general Tedros ham Ghebreyesus who declared that organisation has 'full confidence in China's efforts'.

Citing WHO, Zhang also touted uninterrupted tre and travel to China while United States issued a 'Do t Travel' visory for China due to outbreak. China's ambassor to UN said that 're is reason' for measures that 'unnecessarily' interfere with international travel and tre. Zhang also ded that under certain circumstances. world requires solidarity in order to tackle virus spre. According to Chinese envoy, countries should avoid 'overreaction that may result in spillover negative effects.'

Furrmore, Zhang said that country is 'still making assessment' of recent declaration by WHO. However, according to WHO, main reason for coronavirus outbreak to be declared as a global emergency is t because of China, but due to happenings of world. statement also praised country for 'quickly identifying' virus and shared its sequence to help or countries.

“ main reason for this declaration is t what is happening in China, but what is happening in or countries," said WHO chief, praising "extraordinary measures" taken re by authorities.
Meanwhile, rescue flight carrying 83 British nationals along with 27 foreigners has flown out of Chinese city of Wuhan. According to government's official website, civilian aircraft charted by British Foreign office left Wuhan for UK at 09:45 am (local time) and is estimated to land at RAF Brize rton at 1330 (UK time).
