Coronavirus outbreak: Australia to evacuate over 200 citizens from cruise ship in Japan
Scott Morrison announced that Australian Nationals will depart on chartered planes from coronavirus stricken ship and will be quarantined in tropical north.

Australia has reportedly anunced that it will evacuate more than 200 citizens quarantined onboard coronavirus-stricken cruise liner docked off in port of Yokohama, South Tokyo. Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison said that Australian nationals will depart on chartered planes on February 19 and will be taken to Australia's tropical rth, confirmed reports.
Morrison reportedly said, that evacuees that returned to Darwin, Australia, will be required to be quarantined by Health Officials for ar 14 days. He said that decision has been taken in order to prevent furr spre of COVID-19 via human transmission within country.

He furr ded that Qantas Airways Aircraft that has been assigned to airlift Australians will also have specified provided to evacuate New Zealand citizens that will disembark Diamond Princess cruise liner in Japan. passengers will n be transferred to New Zealand when y arrive at Darwin, Morrison furr explained.

Director of Communicable Disease Control with Western Australian Health Department, Paul Armstrong will reportedly board Diamond Princess cruise liner to assess situation on ship and will report back to health committee, suggest reports.

Government making arrangements
federal health minister, Greg Hunt, told media that government was making arrangements for logistics for evacuating Australians. He furr ded that only those who test negative for disease will be repatriated, rest will be treated for symptoms in hospitals in Japan.
Hunt furr ded that government was planning a potential operation to fly Australian citizens back in country. He said that national security committee was consulted who vised that re could have been secondary round of infections. So authorities are working to tackle situation with Qantas to bring se people without furr spre of virus on board flight, confirmed reports.
