A couple reportedly abandoned their child at Nanjing Lukou International Airport, China after the child apparently had a fever and wasn't allowed to board.

Amid dely coronavirus outbreak, a couple reportedly abandoned ir child at Nanjing Lukou International Airport, China after child apparently h a fever and wasn't allowed to board. A user of a Chinese social media site wrote that parents deserted ir son and daughter by departure gate and boarded flight on ir own, leaving airline workers and or passengers in shock. 

social media user furr said that couple was causing a scene at airport which led to parents and airport crew arguing at boarding gate for three hours and causing a serious delay for or passengers. However, airport authority reportedly said that kids were eventually allowed to board and were arranged to be seated at front of cabin. virus h alrey claimed almost 106 lives in China with 4,515 confirmed cases. According to National Health Commission, 976 are in serious condition.

In a bid to take precautionary measures, China has also locked down 10 cities, including Wuhan, Huanggang, Ezhou, Zhejiang, Qianjiang, suspending all public transport to contain dely virus.  mayor of city of Wuhan has reportedly urged citizens t to travel outside China and authorities have furr issued a travel visory warning backlash of coronavirus.

'Emergency in China'

In order to strengn control over virus outbreak, Wuhan, capital of Hubei province and epicentre of Coronavirus outbreak, has suspended visa and passport services for Chinese citizens until January 30. World Health Organisation (WHO) has t yet classified virus as an international emergency considering low number of overseas cases. However, WHO director-general Tedros ham Ghebreyesus has called it 'an emergency in China'.

According to WHO, symptoms of Coronavirus may include runny se, heache, cough, sore throat, and fever. In more severe cases, it may le to pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death. Experts and researchers are yet to understand destructive potential of new virus and have yet t found a cure for same.
