Dhanush fans got a special treat on occasion of  multitalented artist’s birthday on Sunday. first look of his next film ‘Pattas’ was unveiled and instantly became a talking point on social media. Moreover, special wishes from celebrities including some of his former co-stars made day even more special for ‘Maari’ star.

first look of ‘Pattas’ featured Dhanush in a funky avatar as he is seen with bright glares, chains, jacket, ripped jeans and spiked hair. It wouldn’t be wrong to term it as a milder version of his ‘Maari’ look. 

#PattasFirstLook became top trend on social media within moments of him sharing poster on Twitter.

Netizens went gaga over look, calling it ‘Marana Mass’, ‘looking Thalaivar as a college boy’, ‘Birthday treat’ and more.

Apart from ‘Pattas’, Dhanush is gearing up to star in several or films. One is ‘Asuran’ opposite Malayalam actress Manju Warrier. He also recently anunced a film to be directed by ‘Petta’ fame Karthik Subbaraj, opposite Aiswarya Lekshmi, which will be a gangster thriller. Dhanush also cleared that ‘Vada Chennai 2’ was much on and urged his fans to t believe  rumours surrounding film. 

On n-Tamil front, actor recently featured in internationally acclaimed ‘ Extraordinary Journey of Fakir.' He is reportedly set to reunite with Aanand L Rai after ‘Raanjhanaa’ for a Hindi film as well.
