With Diwali celebrations happening all over the world, the Indian community of the UAE also participated in the Diwali function organised at the Capital Park

With multiple countries celebrating joyous and auspicious festival of Diwali, Indian community across United Arab Emirates including Dubai celebrated Diwali festivities very joyously. official Twitter handle of Doordarshan shared a video of Diwali celebrations organised by Department of Community Development (DCD) of Dubai. Jail and fine for anyone selling firecrackers in Dubai during Diwali
In an initiative to cut down illegal sale of fireworks in Dubai, anyone selling firecrackers in city during Diwali will be jailed up to three months or fined, according to a media report. amount of fine has been fixed at Dh 5,000 (USD 1,361), Khaleej Times reported. Over last few years, Dubai Municipality inspectors have been cracking down on illegal sale of fireworks during festival.
