Donald Trump And Kamala Harris Agree For Presidential Debate On Sep 10, Says ABC

Washington: Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democrats pick Kamala Harris have agreed to participate in a presidential debate that is scheduled to take place on September 10, AP reported on Thursday.

Donald Trump h earlier withdrew from Presidential debate to be telecast on ABC and said that it should be conducted on Fox News. former US President h n challenged Kamala Harris to debate with him on Fox News inste ABC. 

However, with just three months left for US elections, both Presidential minee have agreed to debate on ABC.

anuncement came shortly after Trump told a news conference that he h proposed three presidential debates with three television networks, saying he agreed on certain dates in September.

Trump is rejoining ABC debate days after posting on his social media network that he would t appear on network, citing a lawsuit he has filed. His decision sets up a highly anticipated moment in an election where first debate led to a massive change in race — with Democratic President Joe Biden ending his reelection bid and endorsing Harris.

“I think it's very important to have debates,” Trump said Thursday. “I look forward to debates because I think we have to set record straight.” Harris campaign h immediate comment.

Trump h teased to be debate with Harris 

Trump h teased an anuncement about presidential debate earlier this week after pulling out of an ABC News debate scheduled for September 10 after President Joe Biden ended his reelection campaign. Trump h said he would prefer that Fox News sponsor debate, but on Wednesday was showing willingness to reconsider ABC.

Trump also echoed criticism from his running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, that Harris has t held a news conference or sat down for interviews since Biden's withdrawal last month and she entered race.

Harris has a travelling press pool with her on Air Force Two for all trips. Trump does t have a set travelling press pool that regularly accompanies him on his plane when he goes out to campaign.

Vance has journalists flying with him, and he campaigned this week in states where Harris and Walz h ir own events scheduled. That included on Wednesday, when Vance's plane and Air Force Two ended up on same tarmac in Wisconsin. Vance started walking toward Democrats' plane but did t reach it before a motorce carrying Harris, Walz and travelling press pulled away.
