Optimism seemed odd
President Trump's statements seemed odd considering previous statements by President Erdogan who told President of United States Donald Trump on October 16 that Turkey will t declare a ceasefire in rastern Syria for a negotiation with Kurdish forces. Currently, Turkey has an ongoing military operation against Syrian Kurdish YPG militia to ericate all “terrorist” forces and create a safe zone around border. Russia-backed army in Syria has moved on to key city of Manbij which was earlier abandoned by US forces. President Trump h retracted all US troops from rastern Syria ahe of Turkey's military offensive in Syria.
