Trump Shooting: What We Know About Suspected Shooter
The law enforcement has recovered AR-Style rifle from the site of shooting.

New Delhi: Former US President Donald Trump suffered a gunshot injury during his Pennsylvania campaign on Sunday. Visuals have emerged from the scene of shooting which shows Trump was delivering a speech while standing at a podium in Butler just when something hit his ear leaving him bleeding. Soon after chaotic scenes erupted following attack. As per media reports, the suspected shooter has been shot dead by the Secret Service agents.
The suspected shooter who was killed by the Secret Service agents for attacking Trump has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks (20). The 20-year-old was a resident of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania which was about 40 miles south of the Butler rally. Crooks was apparently shot in the head after he tried killing the former US president. Meanwhile, the law enforcement has recovered AR-Style rifle from the site of shooting.

What We Know So Far:
- As per reports, two people have been killed, including a suspected shooter.
- The 20-year-old suspected shooter was identified was Thomas Matthew Crooks.
- As Per the Butler Police, the shooter who targeted Trump has been arrested at the scene and has been identified as Mark Violets, an Antifa member.
- Prior to the shooting, another suspected shooter, Violets, uploaded a video on YouTube, claiming "justice is coming".
- Reports claim that one of the accused, who was positioned on roof of a building near location of rally, was neutralized by the Secret Service counter-sniper team few seconds after he opened fire.
- The sniper fired from a distance of around 125m.
- It is said that the shooter fired seven rounds.
An eyewitness said he had informed police and Secret Service about a suspicious man on a roof with a rifle but he said he was ignored.
The shooting at Trump's rally is being probed as an attempted assassination of the former president, law enforcement officials said. Soon after the gunshots were fired, the 78-year-old ex-US president was rushed to a hospital where his condition was said to be stable. Several world leaders have condemned the attacked on Trump and wished for his speedy recovery.
