Donald Trump suggests Iran may have hit Saudi Arabian oil facilities

US President Donald Trump announced that the recent attacks on the oil facilities of Suadi Arabia were executed by Iran; military retaliation not to be pursued

On September 17, US President Donald Trump anunced that recent attacks on oil facilities of Sui Arabia were executed by Iran. He said it "looks" like Iran caused explosive attack. After receiving consultation over an appropriate reply, Donald Trump emphasized that re was need for military retaliation in response to attack against Saudi Arabia, which happens to be one of allies of US in middle east.

US toned down

Recent attacks in Saudi Arabia's oil refineries has facilitated fresh Middle East war concerns. Oil prices also soared worldwide. In Trump’s previous statement immediately after attack, he said  US was “locked and loed”. But w he has dismissed any talks over quick military response in middle east. Trump said  attacks and rise in oil prices will t affect US which is a net energy exporter.

However, Iran refused any kind of involvement in attacks. Saudi government, on or hand, said  attack was an “unprecedented act of aggression and sabot” but at same time, it decided t to put blame on Iran without any revelations. Trump following a new line of approach towards rising Middle East issues, established distance from new Middle East wars.

ding to confusion, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo took a different stand on issue when he declared that attacks were Iran’s fault; and stated, 'Iran has w launched an unprecedented attack on world’s energy supply.' Initially, US President did ackwledge intent to meet crisis and talked harshly on issue. But his statement on Monday directed attention towards making consultations with his allies.

USA's intention to help Saudi, but has  military options 

Trump clearly stated that attack was on Saudi Arabia and t on US, even though US will come forward to help Saudi, but it is t officially obligated to defend Saudi. It is certain that Trump oscillating between aggressive and nviolent reactions has said that US is capable of responding with 'an attack many many times larger' but 'I’m t looking at options right w.' Trump in a display of US supporting Sui has sent Mike Pompeo to discuss what y feel about attack and to get clarity on situation. Trump ackwledged re are alrey massive sanctions me and for w that will be approach. According to US officials, as reported by Associated Press, said US has alrey deployed USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier battle group in region, apart from that fighter jets, bombers, air defences and reconnaissance aircraft are currently present in area. US defenses are considering to recruit ditional military tropes in Gulf but decision is yet to be me.
