Dramatic Hot Air Balloon Crash Caught on Camera Near Camperdown Police Station

KwaZulu-Natal: A hot air balloon crash was captured on camera in South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal, near the Camperdown Police Station, on Friday. The dramatic footage shows the balloon rapidly descending towards the road before the pilot managed to control the situation.

The balloon, seen drifting towards the ground and then crashed in a nearby tree before the pilot made a controlled landing in an open field. While the balloon sustained some damage, the pilot's efforts to steer it to safety likely prevented more serious consequences.

No injuries have been reported so far.
