Dubai police play Indian national anthem during Diwali celebrations

As the festival of lights is right around the corner, celebrations can be spotted worldwide. This year, the Indian festive spirit was also seen in the United Arab Emirates on October 24, where the Indian national anthem was played by the Dubai police band. An Indian in UAE shared the video of the event on Twitter stating he felt proud. In addition to that, there were also glimpses of dazzling fireworks along with a Hathi laser show at festival city in Dubai. The city-wide celebrations included diya-lighting ceremony, Bollywood dance performances, and festive markets.
Diwali in Dubai
Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of State for Development of North Eastern region also shared the video of the event which was organized by Dubai tourism along with the Indian Consulate in Dubai. The laser show was displayed on the musical fountains and special fireworks. Indians in UAE also posted pictures of the Dubai markets which displayed all the necessary items for Diwali decorations, including our idols. The Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, Sheikh Abdullah also wished all the Indians in UAE a 'Happy Diwali' and also called it a 'truly joyful festival'.
