A duck that was left with an arrow sticking out of its head for nearly three months has finally been rescued after being picked up by an animal rescue centre.

A duck that was left with an arrow sticking out of its he for nearly three months has finally been rescued after being picked up by an animal rescue centre. mallard h been shot through neck and he with a steel-tipped arrow attached to a fishing line, however, he miraculously survived and also surprisingly went around three months without treatment and with an arrow stuck in him. rescuers h been trying to capture duck and remove arrow but duck h fled whenever rescuers got close. 

As per reports, recently, three rescuers heed out on kayaks to rescue mallard, who h been shot with a crossbow on Rbuza river in Pilsen, Czech Republic. While speaking to an international media outlet, Karel Makon, from animal rescue centre DESOP Plzen, said that first time rescuers tried to save mallard was in April. Karel ded that, however, April mission was in vain as duck always flew away and he couldn’t be caught.

It was earlier this week that animal centre decided to pull off a coordinated kayak chase to capture bird and take him to a vet. Karel reportedly said that rescuers succeeded by taking vant of fact that mallard was moulting, which meant that he wouldn’t be able to fly until new fears grew. While explaining rescue mission, Karel said that this time she stood on shore with a landing net on a long pole and two of her colleagues distracted mallard in ir kayaks. 

According to reports, Karel ded that rescue mission mostly depended on luck. She furr said that she quickly swang landing net into grass and mand to catch injured duck. animal centre informed that mallard was taken to a vet where he was given an x-ray before arrow was carefully removed. animal centre believes that duck was victim of poaching as his injury seemed to be a targeted hunt. y even ded that attack could be vandalism as well. Furrmore, centre said that duck has recovered and has been released back into water.
