An Indian Forest Official Praveen Kaswan shared an old video of a herd of elephants and it is now trending online with netizens feeling the guilt. The video was shared on Twitter by the IFS officer is of the Hossur village in Karnataka. In the beginning of the video, a group of elephants can be seen on an active road of a busy area, failing to find their way as there are obstructions everywhere. While the bystanders are watching them, they are seen jumping over a wall in order to get their way to their habitat. Kaswan captioned the video as, "Have you have ever seen #elephants jumping a wall !! Things they have to do when nowhere to go. When blocked from all sides. This Old video from Hossur will make you wonder !!".

Netizens feel guilty

The video uploaded by Kaswan is about 52 seconds long and it has received about 6000 views, 583 likes and more than 212 retweets ever since it was uploaded. The Twitter users are feeling sad about the situation of the animals and they are feeling responsible for what the elephants have to do now. In the video, an older elephant is also seen trying its best to help a baby elephant cross the wall. A twitter user wrote in the comment section of this video, "The houses must have been built on the path used by the elephants for many generations".

Another user commented, "Maharshi Raman once said if animals had means to communicate they would certainly ask for their rights. Very sad. We all are responsible for this situation in one way or another". A user angrily called Human being the most destructive species in the world. Many users felt that this is an example and effect of deforestation. While few users applauded the IFS officer for sharing the video. A user praised the officer saying, "wow! You are a true IFS officer. Your love for animals and wildlife is really something to admire. I am sure you Love your job". A user calling the group sensible in comparison to humans wrote, "Even they are sensible enough not to destroy human surroundings like a wall, which they could have with just a big thrust of their but they didn't. However, some people ruin their surroundings by cutting trees, building highways etc."
