Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy Bag Top Roles in Trump 2.0, to Lead Department of Government Efficiency

Washington: Tesla CEO Elon Musk and former Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will le Department of Efficiency, President-elect Donald Trump said in a statement on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Ramaswamy tagging Musk in a post on X which re, “We Will t Go Gently, @elonmusk.”

 This comes as Donald Trump earlier in an interview in with Fox News in October first revealed his plans to appoint a "secretary of cost-cutting," and also stated that he would defer to Musk when it comes to shutting down various ncies and essentially ‘trimming’ government.

"I’m going to have Elon Musk — he is dying to do this. You kw, he’s a great business guy, actually. You think of him for science and rockets. And every time I think he’s telling me about a new screw that was developed, he’s developed a new screw — screws are difficult — and it’s me out of titanium, and it’s so exciting. But you kw what?
