Regarding climate change, EU decided to increase its ambition for coming dece in order to meet ir objective of climate neutrality by year 2050. re was a discussion on ‘Stepping up Europe’s 2030 climate ambition’, and EU's executive, European Commission said that re is a need to cut emissions by 55 per cent by year 2030.

Leers urged all or parties to submit an updated nationally determined contribution (NDC) and also underline importance of ‘strong coordinated action through active European climate diplomacy’.
