EU European Affairs Ministers gather to discuss Brexit

With British Prime Minister's attention on curbing rise in numbers of coronavirus cases in UK, and end-of--year transition period deline approaching, tre talks are under strain.
Boris Johnson has ruled out extending transition period - which kept Britain aligned to EU's single market and customs union rules to allow tre to flow smoothly after Brexit.

EU Brexit Chief negotiator Michel Barnier said Bloc would remain "calm and realistic."
Johnson has set a deline of October 15 for an agreement to be reached, orwise he has said he will simply walk away from negotiating table.
