Madelaine Brockway and Jacob LaGrone, not widely known, are stirring up a storm on social media with their extravagant wedding. Dubbed the 'wedding of the century', their celebrations sparked a mix of awe and criticism due to the significant amount of money invested.
Brockway, who tied the knot with Jacob LaGrone this month, opted to showcase their extravagant celebrations on social media. The posts garnered hundreds of thousands of views, with some users praising the bride's lavish bachelorette party, her stay at the Palace of Versailles and the private Maroon 5 performance during their first dance.
Who is Madelaine Brockway?
The 26-year-old heiress, blessed with substantial wealth from her family's car business donned an exquisite attire throughout the week-long Parisian celebrations. Tying the knot with her long-time partner at stunning venues, the wedding expenses covered private flights for guests, the rental of the renowned Palace of Versailles and opulent floral arrangements, as per reports.
According to The Independent, as TikTok was inundated with videos of Brockway's extravagant wedding, someone hailed it as "the most stunning wedding in the world." While many praised the lush floral arrangements and private concert, a significant number of users found themselves pondering: Who is Madelaine Brockway, and what was the price tag on the wedding?
The dream bachelorette
To kick off her wedding celebrations, she enjoyed a girls' trip at the exclusive Amangiri resort in the Utah desert. Each night featured a unique theme for both dress and décor, all meticulously documented by a hired videographer.
The initial evening of her "dream bachelorette" was themed "Pretty in Pink," highlighted by a charming poolside dinner. The subsequent night embraced the theme of "Aliens Among Us'', adorned with green décor and quirky wigs.
The third night transitioned into "Golden Hour."
However, the grand finale was the Marie Antoinette-themed fourth night, featuring cinched waists, petticoats, powdered wigs, and a spooky touch with skull décor.
Evening in Paris
Arriving in Paris five days prior to the main event, Brockway and her group gathered at the Chanel Haute Couture Salon on Rue Cambon. This was followed by a luxurious stay at Versailles, complete with bottles of Dom Pérignon on ice and a glam squad.
The evening concluded with a catered, candlelight dinner, according to New York post.
Content from the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and the main function was shared by her loved ones before Brockway herself got a chance to share anything on social media platforms, which eventually made her gain a lot of attention online.
