An Australian man shared a heartwarming note on Facebook written by one of the firefighters who saved his home from the wild bushfires that engulfed many houses

An Australian man shared a heartwarming te on Facebook written by one of firefighters who saved his home from wild bushfires that engulfed many houses on eastern coast of country. “It was our pleasure to save your house...sorry that we couldn’t save your sheds...p.s - we owe you some milk,” re te written by a firefighter of Urunga Rural Fire Service. 

Social media hails fire service

Paul Sekfy found te in his kitchen and said that it was best te on his kitchen bench since morning after his wedding. Impressed by te, netizens showered praises on firefighters.

“Oh my that’s just amazing, what y are going thru it’s relentless my heart is breaking for you all from over hear in west. To man to have a sense of humour se are our true warriors (sic),” wrote a user. “If you've just saved my house, hell you can have my whole fridge and everything inside it too! (sic)” wrote ar user.

State of emergency

Australian authorities h declared a state of emergency in Queensland and New South Wales (NSW) as eastern region was hit by ferocious bushfires. New South Wales (NSW) Rural Fire Service, on vember 12, said that catastrophic fire danger has been recorded in Sydney, Hunter, and Illawarra and re is still rainfall on horizon.

Increased fire activity predicted

fire service informed that 74 brush fires are burning across state, with 36 uncontained and nine still at emergency warning level. “ day is t quite over yet, as a sourly change may see an increase in fire activity tonight,” y said. fire service also sprayed retardant, essentially a brightly coloured fertiliser, using aircraft to help protect homes and lives during bush fires. Queensland Fire and Emergency has been constantly releasing visory of ‘prepare to leave’ to evacuate affected areas.
