A video showing a buffalo escaping miraculously from the clutches of five lions has gone viral on the internet. The video shows five lions fighting over their prey and amid all this, the buffalo walks away. The video was shared by IFS officer Parveen Kaswan and garnered about 24k viewers. Kaswan mentioned that the video was taken in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

What's in the video?

In the video, the pride was all set to pounce upon the buffalo. Just at that moment, a lioness is seen snapping at another and soon all five of them begin to attack each other. Taking advantage of the situation, the buffalo escaped. They were so busy fighting that none of the lions noticed that the buffalo walked away.

A 'lesson to teach'

IFS Kaswan mentioned that the lions' activity in the video has a "lesson to teach." He adds that although the pride managed to get hold of a buffalo, they couldn't eat it. It is all because they were fighting among themselves. The video teaches that one should never fight so much that the opponent takes advantage of the situation.

"These #lions have a lesson to teach. They were having their meal but decided to fight with each other. And food walked away," Parveen tweeted.
