France bans gathering of more than 100 people amid coronavirus scare

France Prime Minister has recently banned meetings and gatherings of more than 100 people reduced from the previous official limit of 1,000.

French Prime Minister has recently banned meetings and garings of more than 100 people amid coronavirus scare.   ban on garings has been reduced from previous official limit of 1,000. France has 2,876 reported cases with 61 total deaths. decision was taken by Prime Minister Edouard Philippe in light of growing crisis.

Measures for sake of France

According to reports, while making anuncement Philippe said that its aim was to try and slow down progress of disease. He ded that authorities wanted to prevent furr circulating of coronavirus. he of French Government while making anuncement accepted that new limit on garings would be problematic for cinemas and atres as well as large family garings like weddings and funerals.

To this, he ded that measure was to protect health of French during this time when virus was rapidly spreing. According to reports, Philippe also defended government's decision to go ahe with upcoming first round in French municipal elections. Philippe claimed that after talking to experts, it h been determined that two rounds of elections could be held safely and carefully.

Australian government has vised citizens against mass garings of more than 500 people after chief medical officer told leers of Council of Australian Government (COAG) that all mass garings should be cancelled in country. According to reports, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said step is a precautionary measure to minimise impact of Coronavirus on Australian citizens' health.
