Dhaka: The price of gold in Bangladesh has reached an all-time high as jewelers in the country have decided to increase the cost per bhori of 22-carat gold by Tk 1,190 to Tk 1,20,081. The new prices came into effect from July 15 (Monday)

The Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (BAJUS) announced this in a circular on Sunday evening. As per the notification, the price of pure gold has risen in the local market, prompting the adjustment to the new rate based on the overall situation.
